Our recent chatting over our OCs inspired me to draw Ariella, she's just a sweet innocent character with a tragic childhood and disturbing relationship with her mean half brother Vincent. But lucky for Ari, she has Amichou to look out for her.

I so wanna do more pics of her, especially with Amichou...that is, when this art block starts to loose up a bit....

Mmm, well yes and no ^^;

I already see plenty of mistakes in there so I know
both the anatomy and colouring are not perfect.

No, actually. :) It was to be about the way you draw lips.

I imagine you are using a vector tool like the pentool, and recoloring the lines for the lips.

I think you should consider another way of drawing colored lips to give them a fuller look. As far as I can tell, you don't have too much of a problem with anatomy and color given your style, your lips seem to be the one weakness I can see.

If you want any more help on this, I can be happy to.

Ah I see, these days I draw everything (including the lips) with my tablet,
and I often use color-overlay in the FX box to colour my lines.
